Press Release
Marbach am Neckar / Sheffield, September 2, 2025 – FieldBots, the manufacturer-independent platform for managing autonomous cleaning fleets, and Killis, one of the UK’s largest and most experienced cleaning technology providers, announce a strategic partnership to bring fully connected Genius Swift robots to the British market. The partnership combines the robotic expertise of Killis with FieldBots’ end-to-end fleet management and connectivity infrastructure.
The cooperation centers around the Genius Swift, a newly launched compact and robust vacuuming robot offered by Killis under the Genius brand. Starting this late summer, new devices will carry a FieldBots QR code by default, enabling instant onboarding into the FieldBots platform. Customers can choose a version of the Genius Swift that comes with FieldBots Connect Plus, a pre-installed IoT module that activates a direct cellular connection once licensed. This enables full online management of devices without relying on local Wi-Fi networks.
“With Genius Swift and FieldBots Connect Plus, we’re providing true 1-step deployments for professional cleaning fleets,” said Alexander Feil, CEO of FieldBots. “The microbots segment is evolving fast, and we believe the real innovation lies not just in the robots themselves, but in how they are deployed, monitored and maintained. This partnership is a clear signal to the market that integrated fleet management should be built in from the beginning, not added later. It’s also a natural next step in our long-term OEM integration strategy.”
The integration between FieldBots and the Genius Swift is classified as Level 3, covering full device telemetry, remote control, virtual map editing, error diagnostics and performance analytics. All devices, with or without Connect Plus, will be shipped with a FieldBots QR code, enabling manual Wi-Fi onboarding as well. Existing Genius Swift units already in circulation can also be retroactively connected using a guided workflow in the FieldBots apps.
As part of the rollout, Killis will handle device delivery and on-site setup. For larger fleets, particularly in the UK’s hospitality sector, Killis will provide advanced training as well as long-term servicing and maintenance. FieldBots’ built-in health monitoring and performance insights will support Killis technicians during ongoing operations. Given the significant hardware investments behind large-scale microbot deployments, this partnership ensures that customers have both the tools and the data to protect and maximize their assets. Together, FieldBots, Killis and their key accounts are focused on continuously optimizing microbot performance in hospitality to deliver the highest return on investment.
“Our goal has always been to make advanced cleaning equipment accessible and maintainable for real-world use,” said Tibor Killi, Owner and Managing Director of Killis. “With the FieldBots integration, we’re giving our customers more than just a robot. We’re giving them transparency, control and the ability to scale intelligently. For clients running hundreds or even thousands of devices, this opens up entirely new possibilities for how automation can be rolled out and deliver measurable results.”
The partnership is initially focused on the UK market but may expand to international projects. Lionsbot devices distributed by Killis are already supported through an existing Level 1 integration in FieldBots. Killis also joined the The Biggest Fleet initiative to spotlight the largest end customer fleets in robotic cleaning.
FieldBots is the leading platform for managing autonomous cleaning robots, currently supporting eight manufacturers and 23 models. Operators can centrally manage machines from different brands and document cleaning performance. With configurable widgets, automated notifications and integrated ticketing, both operational and technical teams are supported in their daily work.
