Press Release
The Nuremberg-based Dorfner Group has entered into an agreement with FieldBots GmbH for the joint further development of the FM robotics fleet management system FieldBots OS. The internationally active multi-service provider will contribute its extensive robotics expertise to the partnership. In turn, the technology company FieldBots will prioritize software features that support the Dorfner Group in the daily use of its robotic systems. The non-exclusive results of this joint development will benefit the entire cleaning industry.
Alexander Feil from FieldBots said:
“To our knowledge, the Dorfner Group was the first large cleaning company listed in the Lünendonk ranking to appoint a dedicated Head of Robotics. From the beginning, automated cleaning was not a marketing gimmick for them but an integral part of their corporate strategy. We are very pleased with the collaborative spirit in our partnership.”
As a first step, the Dorfner robots already in customer use were integrated into FieldBots OS. With the live data, FieldBots receives important feedback from the field and can optimize FieldBots OS for the needs of large FM service providers and heterogeneous robot fleets. Regular coordination ensures the roadmaps and needs of both companies are aligned.
Adrian Hoffmann, Head of Robotics at the Dorfner Group:
“We regularly test the latest robots and assess their practical suitability. This way, our customers can be confident that we use robotics where it truly adds value. With FieldBots OS, we have a one-stop solution to monitor all our devices and fleets, document cleaning performance accurately, and respond quickly if necessary.”
FieldBots is the leading platform for managing autonomous cleaning robots. Operators can centrally control robot models from different manufacturers and document cleaning results. With configurable widgets, automated notifications, and integrated ticketing, both operational and technical staff are perfectly supported in their daily work.
With total revenues of around €335.4 million in 2023, the Dorfner Group is one of the leading facility service providers in Germany.
